Orion - RMD Information- Verified RMD column or RMD Dashboard

Your client's RMD can be found in two places:

1. Under the column "202X (whichever year we are in) RMD Value from Product Company". Values there have been verified as accurate by the Evolve Service Team with the carrier. If you do not see a value listed there, please submit a case to the Evolve Service Team. You will need to manually add the appropriate column every year under disabled columns. Adding a column can be found here:  Orion- How to See Client Information

2. On the RMD dashboard in Orion. Please see below for the steps to finding the RMD Dashboard in Orion:
  1. Go to your Dashboard Home Page > All Applications and choose RMD Dashboard

  1. To export the data, click Actions > Export to Excel

  1. From there, you can see the RMDs for your clients and if they are satisfied YTD.
    1. Review RMD calculations for clients with spouses 10+ year younger

    2. Review RMD calculations for Inherited IRAs as they do not calculate on the dashboard

    3. Review RMD calculations for any account that transferred to Mutual after 12/31 of the previous year as there will be no year-end balance

  2. Keep in mind the download source (you can find that under Dashboard Home Page > All Applications > Portfolio Audit > Accounts)
    1. If they come from DTCC, then it will not show you up to date information due to the frequency of their downloads
    2. Any account that does not have a value in the current value column will not appear on the RMD Dashboard. These are accounts that do not have a download source.
