1. We can call in a check reimbursing the owner to their address of record
2. We can call in a check directly to the beneficiary for $5,000 or less to their address of record
3. We can call in a check directly to the university (we need the university name, full address and student id)
4. We can call in an ACH to reimburse the owner if they have a bank on file with NEST. If there is no bank of record, however, the client can log on and add a bank or the NEST ACH form can be completed. It must be on the account for 15 calendar days first before it can be used.
5. The NEST withdrawal request form is needed if you'd like to send the beneficiary a check for over $5,000 or if the client has a non-qualified distribution.
No wires are allowed in general and no ACH is allowed directly to the university.
For Overnight checks, the options are that you provide us with a UPS account number and zip code for them to charge OR you provide us with an overnight UPS label, which we can email them to use. They are not able to charge the 529 account.
